Michael Ragan, President

A Pacific Northwest native, Mike earned an undergraduate business degree at the University of Washington and pursued a career in the construction industry, first working in the field trades and then as an estimator and project manager for a public works contractor. In the 1980's Mike saw the potential for new opportunities in the growing computer and software industry and returned to the UW for additional education, completing an MBA focused on management information systems and finance.

In 1985 Mike joined Bidtek (renamed Viewpoint in 2003), selling integrated accounting and estimating software to mid-range and large construction firms, and enjoyed a 22-year career in sales and management with the firm. Mike's work with Viewpoint customers brought him in touch with Paperless Environments, an emerging software company focused on document imaging and workflow automation software for the construction industry.

In 2007 Mike formed Workflow Professionals to become Paperless Environments' distributor for the Western U.S. and Canada. Mike's education and experience in the construction industry, management information systems, and imaging/workflow software provides a unique perspective on industry challenges and best practices. He uses his experience to help contractors and other businesses apply new technologies to become more efficient and productive.
